The concept of confusion in communication

Yes, some wonder where to reach me. That is the problem of our time. When you would know my mobile phone-number, my P.O. Box number, my workingplace, my home-address, my new address, my old P.O. Box address, you might wonder where you can reach me? Actually there is only one me. So which communication-form you use, you will be contacting the same person. how long it takes to reach me depends on the form and address you choose. Same goes for e-mail addresses. Actually I have about 25 of them. Especially because of the several domains I have (each 5 e-mail addresses) and the work I do (writing educational programs for IT-related education). But it doesn't matter which e-mail address you choose. If it is vallid and you are NO spammer (those e-mails are automatically filtered out) you will reach only me, and that is a relief.

new address for TAM-Publications! Posted by Hello
The first mail-art starts to come in at the new P.O. Box in Breda. Since a lot of images with the old address are online it will be interesting to publish this new image. Slowly the new P.O. Box will be appearing everywhere I hope. The P.O. Box in Tilburg will be closed soon, and after a short forewardingprocess all mail sent to that box will be returned. Please change your addressbook! Posted by Hello

new blogs and developements

The number of mail-art related BLOG's keeps growing. You can also see that clearly by the list besides this blog. But what also happens is that the amount of visitors is decreasing. The attention is being spread among the bloghs, and mail-art as an online product isn't what most are looking for. So the exchange of cards and mail-art continues. Some seem to send me mail-art to see if it gets published on my blo9. I have to disappoint them. I am currently preparing my move to Breda. The P.O. Box there is operational, but I haven't had the time yet to check my mail there.

In a few months things will be realized. Also a moment I will focus on how and if I continue with my mail-art activities.

Moving is difficult

When the connection to the Mail-Art network is done by a P.O. Box moving somehow seems easy, but actually it is not. The P.O. Box 10388 has been in use for over 25 years, and since I will be moving to a new town, the new P.O. Box was easy to get. I myself will be moving in a couple of months, and after that the old P.O. Box will be closed. The new one won't function that well in these transition months too. Because I only will be emptying it once every couple of week or so. But you are now warned that my address will be changing soon. If you read the small letters on my blog you will find out the new address. Because of the moving my entries here for the coming months will be less too. So be patient for a while........ If you make documentations where you are printing my address, better use the new one: Ruud Janssen - TAM, P.O. Box 1055, 4801 BB - BREDA , NETHERLANDS.

In Heidelberg again

The fun of these blogs is that you can also enter texts when you are abroad. I have for a few days no access to the mail in my P.O. Box, but I do have access to my e-mail and the BLOG during my short stay in Heidelberg. I use the Internetcafe 'Netlounge' in the Ploeck (center of Heidelberg) for this. And even managed just now to answer some of the e-mails waiting for me.
