The new year also brings new projects, writes Wolfgang Skodd fron Germany. He started a little add & pass on booklet with the title: "Balance - MailArt Underground". Sure I will work in the booklet and pass it on to somebody else. It is always a surprise where the booklet ends up. In some collection of eventually returned to Wolfgang!

Mail to Roland Halbritter - Germany

My mail to Roland Halbritter (Germany) arrived. Seems he was irritated by the colour xeroxes of the Ray Johnsons Interview I did years ago. He wondered what it should mean to him. It was just a chance to see how Ray reacted to questions. To me they were then very interesting. See : http://socks-stockings.blogspot.com/ for his reaction. Ray didn't took questions seriously, but in a way took them the way they were. There was an obvious play, an in the Mail-Interview with Norman Solomon (see: http://www.iuoma.org/postcard.html ) they were analyzed by this close friend of Ray. So for the complete picture it is very usefull in my eyes.

The catalogue Mailartissimo dates from 2004. A wonderful catalogue printed in colour and includes texts in English and Russian. Lots of illustrations, addresses of the participants and historic statements about mail-art from several sources. ISBN 5-9900363-1-0 - 177 pages. To my surprise I find my own name on page 169. Thanks to Gik Juri three of my artistamps sheets were part of the exhibition.

A lovely surprise in the envelope: a set of artistamps for Fluxus Breda. I placed one in the archives of the Fluxus Heidelberg Center. One sheets will be used in the outgoing mail. Thanks Jack!
