Painted envelopes

started with a new series of painted envelopes that are going out this weekend.

Outgoing stampsheets TAM RSA

For the TAM Rubberstamp Archive I have been sending out these envelopes into the network. Most of these also contain a special sheet for Fluxus Rubberstams that are supposed to go through the network and when full return to me. Those sheets go into a special collection that will be documenten en exhibited in the future when the time is right.

Stamping Sponges for Erni Bär - Germany

Well, Erni Bär sent me a set of sponges, and I promissed to stamp with them. Here is how that goes.
First you need to prepare the sponges for the formats you want to stamp. These sponges are tough to cut, so I needed an industrial siccors to get that done. The first letters of Erni Bär to start with.
Normal ink wouldn't do, so I will be stamping with acrylic paint. This time with white paint since I already prepared the background envelopes to print on.
And there goes the B
And the T
And another stage is finished.
The rest of the work can be done now. I need the address, more addings, and eventually Erni Bär will be the first one to get to see the envelope and content....
Just wanted to show you all how you can actually stamp (or do they call it print) with sponges. The result looks good so far (paint is drying now) so I hope to finish it up soon.
