The Boring Group

see: https://www.facebook.com/groups/borrrring/

A group for people who are bored, but actually it has become quite a lively place with very specific humor.

Incoming mail

Suddenly lots of incoming mail-art, so difficult to blog all of it and this is an attempt to show you what I sometimes get in. Mostly also stampsheets for the TAM Rubberstamp Archive.

Mail from Otto Scherman - USA

Mail from Otto Scherman (USA). Inclused some new stampsheets for the archive, and also a personal letter with more details on what Otto does.  He used my envelope and reversed it. The final piece is a lovely result.

Ink testing

The testing with ink always gives interesting examples. I sace the result, and can always look back on which way I want to go. Each individual box has it's own charm.

Outgoing to MoMa

Since they liked the previous enveloppe I am sending them another one with a new drawing in it...

Prints

Some clear prints of the stamps are made and sent out into the network....

Mail to Ryosuke Cohen - Japan

The 4000th post is a fact

This blog started back in 2004. Blogging was new then, and I started the adventure. It continued until today, and in those 11 years a lot of things changed. When I read back in those large lists of postings, I discover a lot of facts. They are still there while we all get older.

Mail to Nico van Hoorn - Netherlands

A surprise enveloppe for Nico van Hoorn in Netherlands. He stopped for a few years with mail-art to focus of photograhy again, but sometimes the blood comes up again and he is sending out cards again. This envelope is a reply to one of his new mailings.

Mail to Ryosuke Cohen - Japan

The last years I send Ryosuke Cohen every few weeks an enveloppe with rubberstamps on them. I normally see them back on one of the BrainCells that he produces..... Here is a new one I sent out this month. Also the new DkultN \and MoMa stamps on them
