From Social Media back to Blogs?

 With the social media becoming ever more commercial ans als less trustworthy I notices more and more people start to renew their blogs.  In this privat envirinment at least you know who is sending the message and the images and videos and you don't get that much sponsored messages

Am I the only one seeing this developement. For me it feels natural to get back the control on a blog, and maybe post the message on some social media. But reactions and control of contect stays with me.

What will happen to mail-art when the Post Offices dissapear?

 

In the last years the Postal Office boxes started to dissapear  lot. After that the Post Offices started to dissapear too. Sening out traditional envelopes and posrcards has become a rare part in society.  The postal rates went up because there were so little envelopes and cards left, and the next step is to stop this service. Since the digial communication took over most part, this seems to be unavoidable.

The parcels still flow, but only inside your country it is affordable. Sending parcels to abroad has become a real financial problem.

So Mail-Art is about to end in some way unless you are rich and can afford the postal rates and special coriers that there surely will be.
