Another typical Torben Doose envelope from Paris France. He must visit this blog now and then. I hope he likes the digital version as well. Will try to find time to send him something back.... Posted by Hello
Another geof huth collection arrived in my P.O. Box this last week. He really sends me a lot, so I just scan the collections I get in a week. One has to be creative to catch up..... Posted by Hello
Letter from John Held Jr. (SF-USA). First one to the Breda P.O. Box. He writes: "The end of an era? No more Tilburg?". Yes, he is right. The next 25 years I will probably be in Breda. Lots more of space too..... John also sends the info of his Europe trip comming Summer. Exhibition in paris and his presence at "Sun of Fun" in Italy. Posted by Hello

Not really mail-art, but actually a postcard my father sent to his family at home while he was as a soldier in Indonesia back in 1949. Sadly enough he died already in 1976. The love for the sending of mail is something I must have gotten from him Posted by Hello

Thank you all!

Thanks to: R.F. Cote, The Scribe, Ed Giecek, C.Z. Lovecraft, The Sticker Due, Ficus and Laura Barletta, one of my cards came back to me. It was attached in this booklet which has been circling from Canada to the States and made it across the Ocean back to me. A gift for my 25 years in mail-art. Indeed quite a surprise. The card is stuck to this heavy board, and the booklet has 3 pages. It arrived to my old address, but that is still operational for the time being. Thank you all for this nice present. Jeff Berner reports about his first happenings in his new Atelier. Seems on September 3rd John Held will be there doing an exhibition. Seems I am invited as well, will have to see if I find the time to make the trip. Posted by Hello

The Geof Huth Collection

Geof Huth found my new address as well, and lately he has been sending quite a lot. Five pieces piled up, and it seems Geof is in lots of places where he finds the time to send out cards. These cards also pop up on many blogs, so the network sure notices this traveller. Posted by Hello
Torben Doose from Paris (France) also found my new address. Nice words inside the envelope as well. As a reply a painted card is already on its way. Posted by Hello

More DDR mail-art in the Schwerin Museum

A very nice letter from Kornelia Roeder. She runs the "Staaliches Museum Schwerin" to which I recently sent another package of mail-art from East-Germany. It also includes some of the items I have placed on this blog last month. I had an intense correspondence with Eastern Germany before the Wall came down. No all the mail-art if back to a museum in former DDR. They have an interesting collection from that periode. Only natural to try to make it more complete. The letter also contained an invitation to visit their mail-art archive someday in the future. Posted by Hello
Contact details for Pierpaolo in Italy Posted by Hello
Small envelope from Latuff arrived. Notice his blog.... I've added a link to the ever growing list of Mail-Art Blogs. Posted by Hello

Be Patient

Yes, that is the message these days. The move to Breda is coming closer, and things are being sorted out. Already got first e-mails from Roy Arenella (actually from his wife Martine) that their move went o.k. They are still in the middle of boxes, while I am, starting slowly with packing boxes. A slow process, since the move will be somewhere in July. We'll see how quickly things will go. The first mail-art arrived in the Breda P.O. Box. Sorry, no time to scan and to publish. That explains the title. You have to be patient for a month or two, and then more news will be here for you (with a surprise for sure as well!)
