Mail from Nico van Hoorn - Netherlands

Discovered this envelope on Nico's blog. So I know that this envelope is on its way. Two postage stamps on the envelope indicated that the weight is between 20 and 50 gram, so lots of paper inside. Tomorrow morning I might find this in my P.O. Box and will discover what the content is....

Mail from Boek 861 - Spain

Mail from Boek861 in Spain. Includes also a stampsheet which finally returned to the collection.

Mail from Roland Halbritter - Germany

Mail from Roland again. This time an experiment for the TAM Rubberstamp archive where he placed carbon paper around the sheet so the postal office would print themselves on the paper. This worked out quite well. Normally I don't scan the incoming sheets (just too many since every day sheets arrive), but I make an exception since I know he will see this blog.

Roland placed the postage stamps that way so the postal office would stamp a lot and therefore will print a lot on the paper. He even placed a stamp on the back of the envelope so he arranges the stamp sheet is fully used.....

(back cover of the envelope).

Mail from Ruggero Maggi - Italy

Mail from Ruggero again. He sends 2 rubbetstampsheets and includes a small personal note. He also askes if the catalogues of the TAM-rubberstamp Exhibitions in San Francisco and Moscow are still available in printed form. I'll have to look in my archive to see if there are some left...

Mail-Art Discussion

Over the years I have written a lot about Mail-Art. Also I always encouraged people to write and/or discuss the topic as well. On a new blog I am trying a new thing. A place where we don't show mail-art, publish projects, but actually DISCUSS the subject. I invited already some mail-artists I know and the discussions have started. If you want to look, just go to:

http://mailartdiscussion.blogspot.com/

And when you would like to take part in the discussion, just send me an e-mail and I will send you an invitation.
