Somehow the Mail-Art is being historified. If we want it or not. Mail-Art archives are sold or given to museums. Books about mail-art end up in muesums. The postal rates go high and less mail-art is being sent out. Digital platforms take over the communication-function for the new generation. I addressed this point to in a lecture I gave in Rotterdam last year. I invested a lot of time for that lecture. The sheets I used there to explain my views are all published in the book available at: http://www.lulu.com/content/5521047 . Or when you want it in colour that is possible too at: http://www.lulu.com/content/5520212 .The International Union of Mail-Artists is where the IUOMA stands for, but actually it is one of the aspects of the Mail-Art that Ruud Janssen has produced in the last 38 years. A lot has been written by him in this period and in his BLOG he writes about the most recent views and thoughts. For Snail-Mail write to: iuoma@outlook.com
