The International Union of Mail-Artists is where the IUOMA stands for, but actually it is one of the aspects of the Mail-Art that Ruud Janssen has produced in the last 38 years. A lot has been written by him in this period and in his BLOG he writes about the most recent views and thoughts. For Snail-Mail write to: iuoma@outlook.com

Why Photo's and no Scans?
Bruno Capatti (Italy) wondered why I am now taking photo's instead of Scan's of the mail-art I receive. Well, there are 2 reasons. The first one is a time-problem. There was a pile of unpublished mail-art that still had to be digitized, and the photocamera is the fastest way to do that. The second reason is that the concept of mail-art can best be seen of a photo. One gets the idea of the piece being mailed and also can discover the content when that is placed on the photo. Just let me know what you think of this.
