The International Union of Mail-Artists is where the IUOMA stands for, but actually it is one of the aspects of the Mail-Art that Ruud Janssen has produced in the last 38 years. A lot has been written by him in this period and in his BLOG he writes about the most recent views and thoughts. For Snail-Mail write to: iuoma@outlook.com

received this wonderful piece of linocut material. On the back just a zipcode inside the Netherlands. I returned an envelope to this zipcode with in it a small surprise. will see if this causes a reaction.
Bunny for Yoko Ono - remember Ray Johnson
UUD
Yesterdag I received from "E" in France Ambasade d'Utopia) thee three letters that form part of my first name. I made an envelope with it and already returned it to "E".
On Facebook I published the photo of the envelope in the IUOMA groups located at:
http://www.facebook.com/groups/iuoma/#!/groups/iuoma/
and discovered that "E" already replied. The R must be on its way too somehow. Not sure in which form and when it will arrive. If that doesn't arrive I have to change my name I guess..
Mail to Guy Bleus - Belgium
Guy Bleus (Belgium) is one of the first contacts I made in the Mail-Art network. So he has quite a lot of mail from me in his archive. What he doesn't have is a lot of my acrylic painted envelopes, so in the last years I am sending him a few so he gets a glimpse of what I am sending out into the network.
In the past decades thousands of painted envelopes were sent into the world. The might have landed in several collections of n of were even just 'thrown away' after the first observation. I have documented all the envelopes I have sent out over the years. Decades ago with photo's on paper, and the last years also in a digital way.
Somehow I think it would be funny to have them all back again and exhibit them in one space. Just an idea.
Gift from J.F. Chapelle - France
This "Holliday Event" rubberstamp was sent to me by J.F. Chapelle in France. He created the event in 2012 (this year). A donation tor the TAM Rubberstamp Archive, but also a rubberstamp to use in an event as he describes. Will document the new ways to use a stamp soon. Thanks so much J.F. !
