IUOMA Postage Stamps

Envelopes go out now with the formal IUOMA postage stamps. There are 4 variations. Worldwide (orange) and Europe (blue). Two white ones for inside the Netherlands.

Fluxus Heidelberg Postage Stamps

The first Fluxus Heidelberg Center Postage Stamps are going out now. Here is an example of an envelope that goes to "E" in France that is active with his fluxus stamps worldwide. The logo on the postage stamp is designed by Litsa Spathi back in 2003 for the Fluxus Heidelberg Center.

The postage stamps are printed on sheets of 10 stamps als you can see here below:

IUOMA Postage - Inside Netherlands

This is the complete sheet of IUOMA postage to be used inside the Netherlands. Litsa Spathi got the first sheet, which will be framed and hung on the wall. I have started using the postage on the outgoing mail-art, so you will be seeing quite a few of them in the future.....

The first envelopes with official IUOMA-postage have started their journey. The orange version for worldwide isn't available yet. Will be published coming wednesday. Got the previews today from the www.postnl.nl firm, so expecting them soon......

IUOMA postage stamps Europe - Worldwide

For outgoing mail-art in the coming time I will use the special made postage stamps ny the Dutch Postale office to celebrate the 25 years IUOMA (1988-2013). So expect to see these collectable postage stamps on outgoing mail-art soon.......

Here below is the orange version which is only valid for mail outside Europe (they call that worldwide, in Dutch : Wereld).

My workplace

Some of you migh wonder how it looks like when I am painting envelopes. Well, the whole workroom is filled with things that are in progress and when the envelopes are dry, the last details are added and a final photo is made to document the outgoing envelope. So somehow I can track down all outgoing envelopes and mail-art in a visual way. Documenting the outgoing mail is quite a task. Lucky enough iot is all digital now and it costs less space.......

Litsa Spathi designed new artistamps for the IUOMA celebrating 25 years. I am testing how they work on envelopes and also with the new cancelation rubberstamp that Jack Lattemann gave me last month. Looks wonderful. Thank you both.

Receieved the card from Jack Latteman. I know he is working hard to make the next AARPEX event a big success. Loved the card with all the new and old creations. Creating artistamps is a special network in Mail-Art for sure.

Mail to Bennett - turning 70

 

John M.Bennett is about to become 70 years old, and Cateryne asked for special contributions to celebrate the occasion. Also heard the book "Last Vispo" will be presented on the birthday party. Will be a special event for sure. Happy birthday J.M.B.!
