A Book About A Book About Death

This 56 pages book, written by Bill Wilson - USA, was one of the gifts Bill gave me when I visited him on April 16th 2010 in his Apartment downtown New York. The book has a limited edition of 500 copies and tries to explain a book that Ray Johnson made, but typically in the Ray Johnson style. Nobody would get the complete idea of the concept of the book, but Bill is trying to explain in this publication how the pages of the publication ray Johnson was working on fit together. This publication accompanies the exhibition "Ray Johnson, A Book about Death" that was held at Kunstverein Amstedam, 12/12/2009 - 31/01/210, see www.kunstverein.nl . The book includes reprints of all the known pages of the book Ray Johnson was making. The book explains such small details of the life Ray Johnson lead that it needs to be absorbed word by word. I am glad to have this treasure in my collection.
