The International Union of Mail-Artists is where the IUOMA stands for, but actually it is one of the aspects of the Mail-Art that Ruud Janssen has produced in the last 38 years. A lot has been written by him in this period and in his BLOG he writes about the most recent views and thoughts. For Snail-Mail write to: iuoma@outlook.com
Ruud- how is it that you have so many of your own Memories ??? I have none of my own. Actually, I think at one point I sent you copies of the ones that I have... Yes, I think that the lot should someday wind up at the Tate, where I believe Robin's archives have been deposited.
I have so many of my own mostly because other mail-artists sent them to me. This one I got from Litsa. Robin always made connections between the items mentioned on the memory and to whom he sent it. I included mostly my address, so some sent me their paper. My collection is 250+ of those memories. Also got copies of the sets that Frank Jensen and Anna Boschi have. I especially like the older ones. Memories of Jean Brown, Marcel Stussi, David Cole, etc... They all have died, and these memories contain specific moments of thewir lives.
a nice idea. But this would cost me a coiuple of days which I don't have right now. Also I am not sure if there is enough interest. The originals are much more interesting. Where should they end up? My collection is already the collection of several mail-artists. All memories from Litsa Spathi are for instance in my collection now. She has some of my memories, so that is why I could scan them. Do you have any memories in your collection Ed?
Yes, I do have a few of the Crozier Memory Sheets -- somewhere packed away in storage...
My only thought on the CD rom is that not many people will be able to visit the museum (wherever it ends up) to view the memory sheets. More artists could enjoy the history in digital format.

Ruud, thank'zZ for posting these digital images of the momorandom sheets. I really enjoy seeing them.
I suggest you produce a CD-rom with images of all 250 (maybe more soon?) that you have and make it available at cost for all mailartists.
Sounds like a great idea to preserve and share history.
