It was to be expected. People read my blog and started to send me things. So the mail-art in my P.O. Box has increased. Too much to handle at the moment, but I will see what I can do. SOme digital art arrived as well (see the files that Mick Boyle sent me below). A new thing. Receiving digital cards instead of the hardcopy ones. Must admot that I don't like them as much as the original snail-mail ones.
Answering all my mail-art hasn't been possible for many years already. Just getting too much and the postage (money) and time (having a daytime job as well) makes it impossible as well. So only a selected amount gets an answer. Don't get mad about that. Just facts of how things can get out of hand when you receive too mucg mail-art.

what's your day job, ruud?
and how much mail do you manage to send anyway?!
Day time job: member of the staff at a department for Informatics at the Baronie College in Breda.
How much I manage to send out? I really don't know. I used to keep lists of what I sent out, but that only costed more time. Must have sent out over thousand pieces each year. So in 25 years that would mean I sent out over 25.000 pieces for sure. My record for a single day: 150 pieces (of course a catalogue). Record for receiving: I once received 42 pieces of mail-art on a single day.....
Try to imagine.
Nowadays things slowed down a bit. I just don't answer all I get and that is much nicer.
