The International Union of Mail-Artists is where the IUOMA stands for, but actually it is one of the aspects of the Mail-Art that Ruud Janssen has produced in the last 38 years. A lot has been written by him in this period and in his BLOG he writes about the most recent views and thoughts. For Snail-Mail write to: iuoma@outlook.com
I did another painting this weekend thinking I would mail it to you (that was the original intention anyway). Then I liked it rather well so I took it by the printers to get a few copies on rice paper.
I had every intention of sending you the original. But - the prints actually came out a little better then the original.
I wonder what you think about getting prints? I feel rather guilty sending you a print because you send out originals all the time, and I know you put a lot of time into your paintings.
I see you have fun painting them too, but to be the recipient feels like a special priviledge, one that I treasure!
I used to do silkscreen printing a lot. That is very effective when one wants to do editions. Good prints are wonderful. Better than colour-copies. We have a college a colour-laser-printer, so I could print all those painted cards on thick paper as well. Stiull can do that since I have a digital original in high reolution scan. There can however be only one original. Why keep them all myself when I can make others happy with them.

Let me know what you think.
Hi Jassy,
